  • Every sale in SportsMan SQL concludes at the Cash Register screen.

  • Each session is organized into a batch, which we refer to as a till.

  • If you utilize the POS module, there are 24 user configurable buttons, which can even include submenus for more menu choices.

  • Large buttons make this screen ideal for touch screen monitors.

  • Hot keys make it easy to accept a variety of payments.

  • Apply credits, enter checks, cash, etc. Use the "Add" button to process partial payments from multiple sources.

  • Enter your count of cash, checks and credit cards.

  • A variety of reports are available to help you troubleshoot any errors.

  • You can adjust tills by adding/removing sales, although these changes are reflected in reports as "edited after the close of the till."

    Deposit Batch Screen - Group all your daily tills in one deposit batch to match your bank slip and reporting.

  • Enter your count of cash, checks and credit cards.

  • Select the tills that are ready to be submitted to the bank.

  • This report sums up the whole day's activity and is typically the summary report sent to accounting.

  • Available for each participant, allowing you to see the detail of every financial transaction, including how it was paid for.

  • Credits apply to the whole family, which enables you to use a credit from one child to register another child.

  • You can add adjustments, post credits, and handle every financial issue from this single screen.

  • Security settings allows users to hide this detail, or see but not interact, with this screen

    A very useful feature is to press F3 or click on the Receipt View and the system automatically shows you the original receipt that created this transaction.

  • Double clicking on any item will show you all the details for that item.

  • New notes can be added, but the old notes are preserved for auditability.

    Delete Item

  • Deleting an item is simple, but requires the appropriate security access level and a comment explaining why.

  • It is easy to apply a cancellation fee directly from this screen.

  • When you checkout, you will be prompted to create a refund check or leave the credit on the account. However, it is possible to create the credit and use it in the same transaction!

    Credit Summary Screen

    From the View Account Screen, you can research any credit, even those that have already been used.

  • Each credit will shows as a separate line item

  • The upper screen reflects how the credit was created, including a fee to which it was immediately applied.

  • The lower screen reflects exactly where the saved credits were applied at a later date.

  • Simple and concise report of the Credit Detail screen, reflecting exactly how the credit was created and used.

    Partial Refund

  • Partial refunds allow you to refund part of a charge when a customer overpays. (Registered as a non-resident rather than a resident)

  • You apply an adjustment to write off the charge amount and generate the credit concurrently, all in one easy step.

    Apply Adjustment

  • Applying an adjustment to a charge is as simple as specifying the Adjustment Type and Amount.

  • Security options prevent unauthorized users from adding an adjustment.

  • Posting a Credit To An Account

  • Credits can be posted as Courtesy for handling customer satisfaction issues, or as Paid.

  • Paid credits can also be added for concession stand use at your outdoor pools.
