Activities
Activities Interface - We've changed it to a tree structure, allowing you to organize your programs and leagues to your exact preferences, and in the format your users expect. We've even added icons that enable you to customize the layout and appearance.
Custom Registration Questions - Define the pertinent questions you need when someone registers for an activity. Need one of those questions to involve an extra fee---no problem! That fee can even go to a different GL Account.
Custom Activity Reporting - Not only can you define registration questions, but you can also design your reports to reflect them. You are now able to easily create new layouts exactly the way you want them, and even add custom filters.
Age Verification - You can now set age limits on programs, so that kids too young or old are automatically notified before they register for the wrong class.
Wait List - Now you can easily organize your overflow! This enables you to determine where and when you need to add new classes.
Class Days & Times - You can specify the days and times classes meet, which prints neatly on the receipt and waivers.
Time Slot Scheduling - This form of registration makes it easy to book things like day care, ice scheduling, or anything reserved in advance for multiple sessions.
Coaches/Instructors - Combined to a single table, making it much easier to manage.
Reporting Interface - Remember previously searching for a specific report? We've enhanced the interface so that you find the activity you want to report on, and the System presents you with a list of available report options.
Membership
Members Screen - Now tabbed with immediate access to activities, facility reservations, memberships and more.
Admittance Rejection - With the click of a button, you can now see the entire process SportsMan SQL used to evaluate the validity of an admittance attempt. When a card is rejected, you know exactly where to go to resolve the problem. For further clarification, you can email it directly to Peak Software Support.
Admittance Sounds - New options allow you to select the sounds that play for the various admittance events.
Recurring Membership Support - This feature has been completely updated, making the processing of monthly memberships straightforward, easy, and fast.
Custom Membership Cards - Customizing your membership cards is fast and easy to do.
Simplified Configuration - We support more input devices than ever, and a fresh new interface makes it easy to get yours working. This includes complete support with Terminal Services.
Internet
New Design - A completely new layout upgrades the look and feel.
Shopping Cart - It is now easy for a family to register for several activities and pay in a single transaction. This simplifies the reconciliation process, saving money on internet registrations due to reduced credit card transactions. The entire process is consolidated on a single receipt, and executed real-time, just as if it were handled in house.
Portal - It has been redesigned to enable monitoring from any computer. Enhancements allow it to process more transactions in less time.
Customization - The website now offers many more user-customization features! We've added additional links and options to make it look like your site.
Facility
Access From Cash Register - It is now much more user-configurable.
Resource Registration - Items like racquetball reservations are easy to set up under the new facility registration.
Unlimited Time Slots - If your facility utilizes time slots for organizing registration blocks, you are no longer limited to 6 blocks. As an option, you can designate a specific fee for each block if necessary.
Point Of Sale
This is now the center of all sales and transactions. The consistency of closing every sale here reduces training for your staff, while improving efficiency.
Point Of Sale Screen - Customers wanted more buttons and more configuration options, and we delivered them! The screen is greatly enhanced, and perfect for touch screen and POS-intensive situations.
Configuration - You now have more control over each button for improved speed and ease of use.
Financial
Completely Fresh Interface - The entire financial process has been rewritten to simplify and add clarity to every function.
New Accounts Screen - It is now much easier to read and review all aspects of account history.
Receipt Accounting - Every financial transaction is now closed via the point of sale screen and generates a clean, auditor-approved receipt. This makes it effortless to reprint a receipt or retrace a sequence of events.
Total Cash Management - While working with the strictest auditors, close attention was given to ensure that we utilize the best practices to manage cash. This includes daily tills, and then compiling those tills into a single deposit which matches your deposit sheet.
Aborted Transactions - Everyone needs auditability in their system, and with SportsMan SQL it is built in and automatic. Every transaction for registration, daily pass, merchandise, etc. is recorded and marked as aborted if deleted (even if the sale was never completed!). It's completely invisible to the user and makes auditing a snap.
Till Closing - All tills can now be closed automatically to reduce the frequency and hassles of unclosed tills.
Credit Processing - Careful attention was given to the issuing of credits. You will love the clear, concise reports reflecting how a credit was generated and how it was used. And, you can print it or email it to the customer in seconds. One of the most difficult processes for all centers has been greatly simplified.
Partial Refunds - A new screen has been added to simplify the process of a partial refund in the case of overcharging a customer with a non-resident fee rather than a resident fee. It's easy, the accounting is clear and straightforward, and it takes only seconds to do.
General
Our new Report Viewer allows you to see your report and save paper! Preview every report, and then decide if you need to send it to the printer. You can also quickly create PDFs and Excel Documents, and email directly from that screen.
SQL Server Backend - Now all data is stored using the Industry Standard of Microsoft SQL Server. This adds tremendous stability, reliability and security!
Adaptable - Because of the SQL architecture and careful design within the program, SportsMan SQL works impressively over low bandwidth connections, making it ideal for deployment at places such as outdoor pools.
Backup Monitoring - SportsMan SQL now actively manages backups. Nothing is more important than your data, and we help to ensure its integrity. The system prompts you aggressively if your data is at risk. Additionally, it will seamlessly integrate to our optional OnGuard service, which provides 24x7 offsite backup and monitoring.
Waivers - Annual waivers are a popular choice for mitigating liability. You can now configure SportsMan SQL to reject an admittance or facility reservation when the waiver has expired. Previously this service was only available on activity registration.
Multiple Sites can now be handled in a single database. When configured this way, all sites share the same customer database, but remain completely autonomous in every other way. This allows you to create "site wide" passes that work everywhere without giving up flexibility for your center. IT personnel love this configuration because it reduces the number of systems they need to maintain.
Online Help - Screen specific help has been added which is continually updated with each new application update.
