Automatic Backups
We know that your data is the core of your business. In the case of equipment failure or any other catastrophy, it is important to be back up and running as soon as possible. To simplify the protection of your data, SportsMan SQL includes an easy to use backup monitor that will execute your backups on a nightly basis and notify you if a backup did not complete successfully. Backups are stored on a local file share and can be archived or backed up by any other system you have in place. Consider our OnGuard off-site backup service for enhanced protection.
OnGuard
Have you considered the consequences of losing important customer data because of hardware failure or other unforeseen catastrophes? Our parks and recreation management software has a built in feature called OnGuard backup that will regularly send a copy of your data to our secure off-site server for safekeeping.
Many of our customers have access to great IT or IS personnel who are aware of the necessity to backup your important customer data, but may not be aware of your SportsMan installation, how it works, and how to back it up properly. In other cases, full system backups may take several hours to restore.
With OnGuard, your facility can be up and running again in less than an hour after a complete system failure. Additionally, Peak Software monitors the status of your off-site backups ensuring that the files are viable. If a backup fails three times in a row, an issue is opened with our Tech Support team which we will then resolve by contacting you to help troubleshoot the problem.
